There have been some major changes to the structure and look of the site:
- This Database section has a new colour scheme.
- The four pages that detailed my direct ancestors have been replaced by the Narratives section. See the Narratives Recent Changes page for more details.
- The remaining pages and sidebars from the original site are now in their own Background and Resources section.
- The fourth section, the start of a study of the Brandis surname, is new.
All four sections can be accessed from the Site Home page.
New content for the Database includes 25 new people, some added from the recently released 1911 Census of England and Wales (Scotland is not yet available):
- The new additions begin with Mary Elizabeth Brandis (b 1863); those below Mary Elizabeth on the same page are also new.
- The second page of additions begins with Ellen Healy (b c1873), wife of Michael McGovern. Their children, as found on the 1901 Census, are also included.
